MiniMarin is a wonderfully charming, deceptively tense, and endlessly replayable sea-based survival game that stars one of cinema's most beloved aquatic characters - the iconic little orange clownfish that the whole world fell in love with - in a brand new adventure that takes the familiar finding-and-fleeing premise and transforms it into a genuinely challenging test of mouse control precision and spatial awareness! Poor little Nemo is desperately swimming through the vast, beautiful, but extremely dangerous ocean, trying to find safety in a world filled with much larger, much hungrier marine predators who have absolutely no interest in Nemo's charming personality or heartwarming backstory. Your job, in the simplest possible terms, is to keep Nemo alive. Click on the little orange fish to control it directly, then move your mouse with smooth, deliberate precision to guide Nemo through the ocean environment while the predators - sharks, barracudas, jellyfish, anglerfish, and other assorted aquatic dangers - close in from every direction at their own speeds and with their own movement patterns. The fundamental gameplay tension is elegant and immediately gripping: the ocean is small enough that there is nowhere to hide and nowhere to run for long, so successful survival comes down to reading the positions and movement trajectories of multiple threatening creatures simultaneously, then finding the one safe path through the chaos that lets you slip past everyone without touching anything. As the seconds tick by, more predators enter the scene and the existing ones increase their pace, creating situations of ever-greater complexity that eventually push even the most skilled players to their limits.
